In doing so, we partner with market leading companies or ones where we see rapid market-share gains where incremental returns on invested capital are increasing. We're always on the lookout to support passionate management teams with a vision we share, strong track record of execution and corporate governance. Our portfolios tend to have a growth and quality bias, as we've found that Value in Asia tends to be a value trap, so we're more GARP oriented.

Our goal is to deliver attractive absolute compounded annual returns over time (targeting 15%+) with diversified exposure across sectors, countries and investment themes to yield lower volatility and higher risk adjusted returns than market indices. Aim to target low-correlation returns (avg. beta <0.5) while maximizing up vs down beta skew.

Risk management is imbedded in our investment philosophy and portfolio construction approach where Capital Preservation both on long and short side is a primary objective.

Data Science augments the investment process where we analyze Big Data sets across multiple data stacks to augment our fundamental investment signals. We also leverage quant techniques like NLP, Factor analysis, machine learnings, and macro models.
